For the last three decades, Mara has been a prolific personal trainer with hundreds of current and former clients. Although not a dietician, she is acutely knowledgeable about how foods affect our well-being.

During your initial meeting, she will inquire about your personal goals and desires about your health here during your stay as well as once you leave.

She is a four time winner in the International Fitness and Bodybuilding Federation (IFBB) and will be happy to help you to develop an exercise and nutrition plan to enhance your health and integrate of your experience with us when you return home.

Your stay will include a flower bath ceremony using local flowers and herbs that are known to stimulate healing.

These herbs coupled with the ceremonial music and chanting is an experience that is unique to Maravilha that will still the mind and body and awaken the spirit.

With decades of experience, our certified Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga instructors’ emphasis will be on creating a tranquil environment and a style that will best suit your needs.

Yoga can help to improve balance, flexibility, strength, chronic pain and posture. Through deep breathing practices and enhanced awareness of the body, yoga fosters inner peace and eases mental tension, anxiety, and mood swings.

Daily yoga and meditation classes included in your stay and private classes are available.

Our massage services intend to soothe and invigorate your body. Our knowledgeable massage therapists share a variety of methods to meet your individual needs:

Swedish massage: A gentle, full body massage designed to improve blood flow, reduce stress and tension in the muscles, and encourage rest and relaxation.

Deep tissue massage: Targeting the deeper levels of muscle and connective tissue, deep tissue massage is perfect for chronic aches and pains.

Our dedicated cold plunge will be available as part of your stay if desired. It is an excellent adjunct to the morning Yoga and Wimhoff breathwork.

Reiki is a form of energy therapy originating in Japan that promotes general well being, stress relief, and relaxation. Mara is a certified Reiki Master and works to balance your energy flow and assist your body's natural healing processes by using gentle hand placements to transmit healing energy into your body.

Breathwork is a powerful wellness practice that uses controlled breathing techniques to enhance physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Participants can lower their stress levels, increase self-awareness, and encourage relaxation by concentrating on their breathing patterns. Breathwork classes guide and facilitate the release of tension, mental clarity, and a greater connection between body and mind.
